Classic American Buttermilk Waffles
A traditional breakfast recipe featuring crispy waffles, fluffy on the inside, made with buttermilk and a hint of richness.

- β2 teaspoons baking powder
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β2 large eggs
- β2 cups buttermilk
- β4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- β1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, whisking until just combined.

The batter should still be slightly lumpy.
