Quick Jamaican Pasta
A fusion of Jamaican jerk flavors with Italian pasta for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- β8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)such as penne or rotini
- β1 tsp jerk seasoningstore-bought or homemade
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor cooking
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β1 medium bell pepperchopped
- β1 tsp jamaican allspiceoptional
- β1/4 cup sour creamoptional (for serving)
- β1/4 cup grated parmesanoptional (for serving)

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add chopped bell pepper and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Add jerk seasoning and jamaican allspice (if using) and cook for an additional minute.

Stir in cooked pasta and toss to combine with jerk seasoning mixture.
