Polish Beef Casserole
A hearty casserole filled with tender beef, gooey cheese, and a touch of polish flair.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Ground Beef80/20 lean to fat ratio
- β1 lb Quick Polish Sausagesliced
- β1 box Casserole Filling Mixavailable at most grocery stores
- β1 cup Gooey Cheeseshredded mozzarella works well
- β1 medium Onionchopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β Saltto taste
- β Black Pepperto taste
- β2 tbsp All-purpose Flourto thicken the sauce

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

Add the sliced polish sausage and cook until browned.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and cook until softened.

Stir in the casserole filling mix, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix the flour and a splash of water to create a slurry.

Pour the slurry over the casserole mixture and stir to combine.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
