Venezuelan-Style Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

- ●1 cup quick fluffy venezuelan ricecan use leftover or day-old rice
- ●1 cup waterhot water is best
- ●2 tablespoons vegetable oilany neutral-tasting oil works
- ●1 small oniondiced
- ●3 cloves garlicminced
- ●1 teaspoon soy sauceoptional for added flavor
- ●1/2 teaspoon cuminground
- ●1/4 teaspoon paprikasmoked or sweet, whichever you prefer
