Quick Italian Pasta
A simple and delicious Italian-inspired pasta dish that can be prepared in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- β8 oz pasta
- β1 jar quick fix sauce (store-bought)any store-bought Italian sauce
- β1/4 cup grated parmesan cheeseoptional
- β1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor cooking
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in the store-bought Italian sauce and stir to combine.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.

If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
