Vietnamese Braised Pork Chops
A flavorful and tender dish that combines the richness of pork chops with the bold flavors of Vietnamese braising sauce.
Ingredients
- β4-6 chops, 1 inch thick Pork chopsBoneless
- β2 tbsp Quick curry paste
- β1 cup Braised curry sauce
- β2 tbsp Fish sauce
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1-inch piece GingerSliced
- β1 cup Coconut milk
- β1/4 cup Green onionsChopped

1. In a large Dutch oven or heavy pot, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat.

2. Add the pork chops and cook until browned on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

3. Remove the pork chops from the pot and set aside.

4. In the same pot, add the curry paste and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

5. Add the braised curry sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to the pot.

6. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.

7. Return the pork chops to the pot and cover with a lid.

8. Transfer the pot to the oven and braise for 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until the pork chops are tender.

9. Remove the pot from the oven and stir in the coconut milk.
