Quick Chinese Pepper Pilaf
A simple and flavorful Chinese-inspired pilaf dish made with quick-cooking ingredients.
Ingredients
- β2 cups Rice Pilaf Mix
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1 Red Pepper
- β1 Green Pepper
- β2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- β1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the red and green peppers and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the rice pilaf mix and cook for 1-2 minutes, until lightly toasted.

Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.

Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, salt, and black pepper.
