Thai Gigantes Plaki Beans
A twist on traditional Greek gigantes plaki, infused with Thai flavors and spices.
Ingredients
- β250g gigantes
- β150g plaki
- β2 cloves pungent
- β100g crunchy
- β100g beans
- β2 tbsp coconut oil
- β2 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tbsp fish sauce
- β1 tsp sugar
- β1 tsp chili flakes
Instructions

Heat the coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the pungent and crunchy, cook until the crunchy is lightly toasted.

Add the gigantes, plaki and beans, cook for 5 minutes.

Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar and chili flakes, stir well.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.

Season with salt to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped pungent and crunchy.

Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
