Mexican Suet Biryani Casserole
A unique twist on traditional Mexican dishes, incorporating the savory flavor of suet and the spices of biryani.
Ingredients
- β1 cup (diced) suet
- β2 cups dense flour
- β1 large (chopped) pleasingly sweet onion
- β1 (diced) thai chili
- β1 lb ground beef
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp chili powder
- β1 cup tomato sauce
- β1 cup coconut milk
- β2 cups (cooked) biriyani rice

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook biriyani rice according to package instructions.

In a large pan, cook ground beef until browned.

Add diced onion, chili powder, and cumin to the pan and cook until onion is translucent.

Stir in tomato sauce and coconut milk. Bring to a simmer.

In a separate pan, melt suet over medium heat. Add diced Thai chili and cook until fragrant.
