Ethiopian Gored Gored Stew
A flavorful and aromatic stew originating from Ethiopia, made with tender beef and a variety of spices. Serve with injera bread for a traditional experience.
Ingredients
- β1 pound, cut into 1-inch cubes gored
- β2 tablespoons mixed
- β2 teaspoons ethiopian
- β1 cup grain
- β2 cups pillowy
- β1 cup malty
- β2 cups water
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add cubed gored and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add mixed and ethiopian spices and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add grain and water to the pot, bringing to a boil.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, or until the beef is tender.

Stir in pillowy and malty, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
