Middle Eastern Fish Cakes
A flavorful and crispy Middle Eastern-inspired fish cake dish. Serve with your favorite side or in a pita with your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Fishany firm white fish works
- β1 cup Peppery Crumbly Eastern Breadcrushed into fine crumbs
- β2 teaspoons Middle Eastern Spice Blendor to taste
- β1 large Eastern Eggbeaten
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1/4 teaspoon Saltor to taste
- β1/4 cup Olive Oilfor frying
- β1/4 cup Fresh Parsleychopped

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a large bowl, combine the fish, bread crumbs, spice blend, egg, garlic, and salt. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into 6-8 portions, depending on the desired size. Shape each portion into a patty.

Heat about 1/2 inch (1 cm) of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer the patties to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until crispy on the outside and cooked through.
