Thai Skewers with Lemon-Oven Glaze
A fusion of Thai flavors and Slovakian roasting techniques in a delicious and easy-to-make dish. The tender chicken is perfectly balanced by the sweet and tangy lemon glaze.
Ingredients
- β500g chicken breastsboneless and skinless
- β2 lemonjuiced
- β100g brown sugar
- β50ml soy sauce
- β30ml olive oil
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 piece gingergrated
- β12 skewers
- βto taste salt
- βto taste pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200Β°C.

Cut the chicken into 2cm cubes and thread onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, and olive oil.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the bowl and whisk until combined.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

Brush the mixture onto both sides of the chicken on the skewers.

Place the skewers on a baking tray and roast in the oven for 15 minutes.

Remove the skewers from the oven and brush with the lemon-oven glaze.

Return the skewers to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until cooked through.
