Japanese-Style Oven-Roasted Chicken Skewers

Ingredients

- β1/2 cup juice lemonfreshly squeezed
- β2 tablespoons olive oiluse for brushing skewers
- β2 tablespoons brown sugarfor marinade
- β2 tablespoons soy saucefor marinade
- β1 teaspoon garlic powderfor marinade
- β1 teaspoon onion powderfor marinade
- β1 teaspoon slovakian paprikafor marinade
- β1/2 teaspoon saltfor marinade
- β1/4 teaspoon black pepperfor marinade

In a large bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add chicken to the marinade and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
