Chinese Roasted Comte Pilaf
A twist on traditional pilaf, this Chinese-inspired dish combines roasted Comte cheese with Mediterranean flavors.
Ingredients
- β200g Comte cheese
- β120g Mediterranean olives
- β250g Pilaf rice
- β30ml Olive oil
- β20ml Soy sauce
- β2 tsp Chinese five-spice
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.

Rinse the pilaf rice and cook according to package instructions.

In a separate pan, heat the olive oil and add the Chinese five-spice.

Add the soy sauce and stir to combine.

Add the cooked pilaf rice to the pan and stir to coat with the soy sauce mixture.

Transfer the pilaf to a baking dish and top with the roasted Comte cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and top with Mediterranean olives.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
