Indian-Style Sirloin Steak Tips
Tender sirloin steak tips marinated in Indian spices, roasted to perfection. A flavorful and healthy dish, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1.5 pounds sirloin steak tips
- β1 can rajma (kidney beans)drained and rinsed
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 teaspoons garam masala
- β1 teaspoon cumin powder
- β1 teaspoon coriander powder
- β1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- β2 tablespoons lemon juice
- β2 tablespoons olive oil

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a blender or food processor, combine garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Blend until smooth.

In a large bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, and the spice blend. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Mix well.

Add the sirloin steak tips to the marinade and mix until they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Remove the steak tips from the marinade and transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.

While the steak is cooking, heat the remaining marinade in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

To serve, place the roasted steak tips on a plate and spoon some of the sauce over the top. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice, if desired.
