Traditional German Apple Cobbler
A classic German dessert made with sweet apples and a crunchy cobbler topping.
Ingredients

- ●1/2 cup Sugar
- ●2 tablespoons Canadian sugar
- ●1 teaspoon Baked Canadian sugar
- ●1 cup (all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt) Cobbler

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Peel, core, and slice the apples. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 tablespoons Canadian sugar. Mix well.

Transfer the apple mixture to a 9x9-inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt for the cobbler topping.

Add 1 teaspoon baked Canadian sugar to the cobbler mixture and mix well.

Drop spoonfuls of the cobbler mixture onto the apple mixture, spreading it out evenly to cover the top.
