Chicken Casserole Italiano
A hearty and flavorful Italian-inspired casserole featuring chicken, nutty pesto sauce, and German sausage.

- β1 pound german sausagecasings removed
- β1 cup nutty pesto sauce
- β1 (12 oz) box casserole
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- βto taste salt

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the German sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks, until browned and cooked through.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Add the chicken breast to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through.

Stir in the nutty pesto sauce and bring the mixture to a simmer.
