Smoky Chickpea Tagine
A Chinese-inspired fusion dish with the smoky flavors of a Moroccan tagine. Easy to make and nutritious, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- β1 can (14 oz) Smoky Chickpeas
- β2 tablespoons Nourishing OilAvocado oil or grapeseed oil
- β2 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 tablespoon GingerGrated
- β1 tablespoon Soy SauceLow-sodium
- β1 teaspoon Moroccan SpicesBerbere or ras el hanout
- β1 teaspoon Sesame Oil

- β2 stalks Green OnionsChopped

Heat 1 tablespoon of nourishing oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the smoky chickpeas, soy sauce, and Moroccan spices. Stir to combine.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the chickpeas are coated in the sauce.
