Filipino Tofu Bake
A nourishing and creamy Filipino-inspired tofu bake, perfect for a comforting meal. This recipe is a twist on traditional Filipino dishes, but with a healthier and more accessible twist.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) TofuExtra-firm, drained and cubed
- β1 head CauliflowerFlorets
- β1 can (14 oz) Coconut milkFull-fat
- β1 medium OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 tsp Cayenne pepperOptional
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1 tsp Black pepper

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a blender or food processor, combine coconut milk, onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper (if using). Blend until smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix together tofu, salt, and black pepper.

In a baking dish, arrange a layer of cauliflower florets. Pour some of the coconut milk mixture over the cauliflower.

Add a layer of tofu on top of the cauliflower, followed by another layer of cauliflower. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of coconut milk on top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden brown.
