Classic German Beef Casserole
A hearty German-inspired casserole filled with tender beef and topped with a crispy crust. Perfect for a cold winter's night.

- β1 medium Onion
- β8 oz Mushrooms
- β2 tbsp Tomato paste
- β2 tbsp All-purpose flour
- β1 cup Beef broth
- β1/2 cup Milk
- β1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
- β1 package Casserole crust (German-style)

Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C).

Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.

Add the onion, mushrooms, tomato paste, and flour to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the beef broth and milk, and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Prepare the casserole crust according to package instructions.
