Moroccan Pork Belly Msemen
A rich and spicy Moroccan-inspired dish featuring slow-cooked pork belly wrapped inside msemen, a traditional North African pancake.
Ingredients

- β4-6 pieces msemenhomemade or store-bought
- β2 tablespoons moroccan spice blend
- β1 teaspoon pungent chili flakes
- β1 medium mellowly sweet oniondiced
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper

Preheat oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).

Season the pork belly with salt, black pepper, and moroccan spice blend.

Place the pork belly on a baking sheet and cook for 2 hours, or until tender.

While the pork is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the diced onion and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.

Add the pungent chili flakes and cook for an additional minute.

Wrap each msemen piece around a portion of the cooked pork belly and onion mixture.
