Vegetarian Turkish Kofte with Malted Chocolate Sauce
A unique twist on traditional Turkish kofte, served with a rich and creamy malted chocolate sauce.
Ingredients
- β250g koftepre-cooked, store-bought or homemade
- β1/4 cup romanticchopped
- β1 tsp turkishground spices
- β1 tsp maltymalted powder
- β2 tbsp cocoaunsweetened cocoa powder

In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped romantic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the pre-cooked kofte and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

In a separate saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of oil over low heat.

Add the unsweetened cocoa powder and whisk until smooth.

Gradually add 2 tablespoons of water, whisking continuously.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.

Stir in the malted powder and cook for an additional minute.

Serve the kofte with the malted chocolate sauce.
