Bacon Baked German Bread
A dense, malty german bread infused with the smoky flavor of bacon, perfect as a side for your favorite indian dishes.

- ●1 teaspoon yeast
- ●1 cup warm water
- ●1/4 teaspoon salt
- ●2 tablespoons malty
- ●4 slices bacon

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups german, 1 teaspoon yeast, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

2. Gradually add 1 cup warm water while mixing until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
