Malty German-Style Chinese Pancakes
A twist on traditional Chinese pancakes by incorporating malty german bread for a denser texture and crispy bacon for added smokiness. These sweet pancakes are perfect for a snack or dessert.
Ingredients
- β1 loaf, cut into small cubes malty german bread
- β6 slices, cooked and crumbled bacon
- β1 tsp, baking powder bake
- β2 eggs
- β1 tsp sugar
- βpinch salt
- β1/4 cup water

In a large mixing bowl, combine cubed malty german bread, crumbled bacon, and baking powder. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.

Gradually add in water and continue to mix until the dough is smooth.

Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.

Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the dough onto the pan.
