Black Bean Satay
A Japanese-inspired twist on the classic Southeast Asian dish, featuring grilled black bean satay served with a sweet and tangy sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 can (14 oz) black beans
- β2 tbsp luscious (honey)
- β1/4 cup malaysian (peanut oil)
- β10-12 satay (skewers)
Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Soak the satay skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.

Drain and pat dry the skewers with paper towels.

Thread 3-4 black beans onto each skewer.

Brush the skewers with peanut oil and season with salt and pepper.

Grill the satay for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the black beans are tender and slightly charred.

Meanwhile, whisk together honey and 2 tbsp of water in a small bowl.

Brush the honey glaze onto the grilled satay and serve immediately.
