Syrian Lentil Pilaf

Ingredients

- ●1 cup pilafcooked
- ●2 tbsp lovelydried parsley
- ●1 tsp syriansumac
- ●2 tbsp olive oilfor cooking
- ●1 onionchopped
- ●2 cloves garlicminced
- ●to taste salt
- ●to taste black pepper

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add minced garlic and cook for another minute, until fragrant.

Add cooked pilaf, lentil, lovely, syrian, salt, and black pepper.

Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 20-25 minutes, or until lentil is tender.
