Thai Lemongrass Chicken Braised Dish
A delicious and aromatic Thai-inspired braised dish made with lemongrass, chicken, and a mixture of vegetables.
Ingredients
- ●2 stalks Lemongrass
- ●1 pound Chicken breast
- ●2 medium Carrots
- ●1 large Onions
- ●3 cloves Garlic
- ●1 can Coconut milk
- ●2 tablespoons Fish sauce
- ●1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- ●1 tablespoon Soy sauce
Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.

Add more oil if necessary and sauté the onions and garlic until softened.

Add lemongrass and sauté for 1 minute.

Add carrots and cook for 5 minutes.

Add coconut milk, fish sauce, brown sugar, and soy sauce.

Return chicken to the pot and bring to a simmer.

Cover and transfer to the oven and braise for 30 minutes.
