Gluten-Free Cornbread
A warm and comforting cornbread that is perfect for any meal. Made with gluten-free flours and fresh corn.
Ingredients
- β 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- β 1 cup cornmeal
- β 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- β 2 teaspoons baking powdermake sure it's gluten-free
- β 1/2 teaspoon salt
- β 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- β 1 large egg
- β 1 cup buttermilk
- β 1 cup frozen corn kernels

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Grease an 8-inch square baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, and buttermilk.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in the frozen corn kernels.
