Slovakian Velvet Pois Soup
A hearty, comforting soup made with the finest slovakian ingredients.
Ingredients
- ●3 large Slovakian velvet potatoes
- ●1 cup Pois
- ●1 medium Kissed onion
- ●3 cloves Petit garlic
- ●4 cups Chicken broth
- ● Salt and pepperto taste

Peel and dice the slovakian velvet potatoes.

In a large pot, sauté the kissed onion and petit garlic in a little bit of oil until softened.

Add the pois and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the chicken broth, slovakian velvet potatoes, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Puree the soup with an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.

Return the soup to the pot and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Serve hot, garnished with a sprinkle of chopped parsley or chives if desired.
