French Smoked Salmon Tartine
A simple yet elegant French-inspired open-faced sandwich featuring smoked salmon, apple, and flaky pastry.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Roll out the pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch and place on a baking sheet.

Spread a thin layer of olive oil over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Bake the pastry for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.

Meanwhile, toast the apple slices by placing them on a separate baking sheet and baking for 5-7 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned.
