Venezuelan Apple Bisque
A creamy and sweet soup made with Venezuelan spices and apples. Perfect for a cold winter day.
Ingredients
- β3 large apples
- β1 can (14 oz) bisqueVenezuelan-style tomato bisque
- β1 medium onion
- β3 cloves garlic
- β2 tbsp olive oil
- β1 tsp cuminground
- β1 tsp paprikaground
- β1 tsp sugar
- βto taste salt
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the apples and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.

Add the bisque, cumin, paprika, and sugar. Stir well.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth.

Return the pot to medium heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until heated through.

Season with salt to taste.
