Spanish Chicken Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic Spanish-inspired chicken dish made with juicy chicken, crisp vegetables, and a hint of tagine spices.
Ingredients

- β1 crisp spanish onionsliced
- β2 tsp tagine spice mixavailable at most Middle Eastern markets
- β2 tbsp olive oilfor cooking
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1 cup chicken brothlow-sodium
- β4 slices crusty breadfor serving

Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.

Add the sliced onion and red bell pepper to the pot and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic to the pot and cook for 1 minute.

Add the chicken broth to the pot and bring to a simmer.
