French-Style Fish Pilaf
A simple and flavorful French-inspired pilaf dish featuring fish as the main ingredient, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Fish (any white fish, 1 lb)
- β1 cup Venezuelan Pilaf Rice (1 cup)
- β1 cup Jammy Onions (1 cup)
- β1 cup Dense Cherry Tomatoes (1 cup)
- β2 tbsp Olive Oil (2 tbsp)
- βto taste Salt (to taste)
- βto taste Black Pepper (to taste)

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the jammy onions and cook until they start to caramelize, about 5 minutes.

Add the dense cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Add the Venezuelan pilaf rice to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the water is absorbed.
