Smoky Arabian Chicken Skewers
A flavorful and aromatic dish inspired by the Middle Eastern cuisine. Marinated chicken cooked to perfection on skewers, served with a side of natto.
Ingredients
- β500g chicken breastcut into 1-inch cubes
- β250g intricately spiced yogurt saucestore-bought or homemade
- β2 tsp smoky paprikaoptional
- β1 tsp arabic spice blendcontaining cumin, coriander, cinnamon
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β2 tbsp lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β100g nattofermented soybeans
- β10 skewerssoaked in water for at least 30 minutes

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together intricately spiced yogurt sauce, smoky paprika, arabic spice blend, garlic, and lemon juice.

3. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat.

4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

5. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.

6. Meanwhile, heat a small amount of oil in a pan over medium heat.

7. Add the natto to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
