Pork Tagine Ramen
A unique twist on traditional ramen, combining the flavors of Japanese and Croatian cuisine with the intense, savory flavors of a tagine.
Ingredients
- β1.2 lbs Pork shoulderCut into 1-inch cubes
- β2 tsp Tagine spice blend
- β2 tbsp Savory miso pasteDissolved in 2 cups of chicken broth
- β2 tbsp Croation olive oil
- β1/4 cup Sliced scallionsFor garnish
- β1/4 cup Sliced fresh cilantroFor garnish
- β1 package Ramen noodlesCook according to package instructions
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black pepper
Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add pork and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove pork and set aside.

Add tagine spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add miso paste mixture and stir to combine.

Return pork to the pot and bring to a simmer.

Cook for 20 minutes, or until pork is tender.

Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.

To serve, place noodles in a bowl, top with pork and sauce, and garnish with scallions and cilantro.
