Scallop Gratins
A classic French dish featuring seared scallops in a rich, nutty gratin sauce. This recipe serves four as a main course.
Ingredients

- ●4 tablespoons Butter
- ●1 cup White wine
- ●1 cup Grated Gruyère
- ●2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- ●1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- ●1/4 cup Fresh parsley
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black pepper
- ●2 cloves Garlic
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the scallops with salt and pepper.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.

Transfer the scallops to a baking dish and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the white wine to the skillet and cook until reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the Gruyère and cook until melted and smooth.

Sprinkle the Panko breadcrumbs over the top of the scallops.

Pour the Gruyère sauce over the scallops and breadcrumbs.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
