Smoky Taco Sliders
A twist on traditional tacos, these smoky sliders are packed with flavor and perfect for a quick dinner or snack.
Ingredients
- β1 bunch spring onions
- β2 intense chipotle peppers in adobo sauceseeded and chopped
- β1 cup shredded mexican cheese blend
- β8-10 tortillas
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp smoky paprika
- βto taste salt
- βto taste black pepper
- β2 tbsp cooking oil
- βchopped (optional) fresh cilantro
Instructions

1. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium heat.

2. Add the chopped chipotle peppers and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until fragrant.

3. Add the cumin and smoky paprika to the pan and stir to combine.

4. Brush the tortillas with the remaining 1 tablespoon of cooking oil.

5. Place the tortillas in the pan and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side, or until slightly charred.

6. In a separate pan, cook the cheese blend over medium heat until melted and bubbly.

7. Assemble the sliders by placing a spoonful of the cheese mixture onto a tortilla, followed by a spoonful of the chipotle pepper mixture.

8. Top with chopped spring onions and a sprinkle of cilantro (if using).
