Crispy Shrimp Fritters with Stir-Fry Sauce
A Dutch-inspired appetizer with crispy shrimp fritters served with a sweet and spicy stir-fry sauce. Perfect for a quick snack or light meal.

- β1 pound Shrimppeeled and deveined
- β1 cup All-purpose flourgluten-free option available
- β1 Eggbeaten
- β1/2 cup Buttermilkshaken well
- β1/4 cup Crushed Dutch crunch cookiescrushed
- β1/4 cup Vegetable oilfor frying

1. In a large bowl, combine flour, egg, and buttermilk. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

2. Add crushed Dutch crunch cookies to the bowl and stir until just combined.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F.

5. Using a spoon, drop small balls of the shrimp mixture into the hot oil.
