Brazilian Cheese Pão
A rich and savory Brazilian-inspired pão filled with melted cheese and indulgent flavors.
Ingredients
- ●1 loaf Pãopreferably a crusty bread
- ●1 cup shredded Cheesea blend of cheddar and parmesan
- ●2 tablespoons Butterunsalted
- ●2 cloves Garlicminced
- ●1/4 cup Fresh cilantrochopped
- ●1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakesoptional, for some heat

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the pão in half lengthwise and hollow out the center, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes or until fragrant.

Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth.

Add the chopped cilantro and red pepper flakes (if using) to the cheese mixture and stir to combine.

Spoon the cheese mixture into the hollowed-out pão, dividing it evenly between the two halves.

Place the pão on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
