German Potato Fritters with Mexican Twist
A flavorful fusion of German potato fritters and Mexican cuisine, perfect for a snack or side dish.
Ingredients

- β1 cup, crushed incredibly crunchy tortilla chips
- β1 cup german rye flour
- β1 small, finely chopped onion
- β1 tsp cumin
- β1 tsp chili powder
- β1 tsp salt
- β2 eggs
- β1/2 cup, shredded cheddar cheese

In a large bowl, mash the potatoes using a fork or potato masher.

Add the crushed tortilla chips, rye flour, onion, cumin, chili powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix well.

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the potato mixture. Mix until a dough forms.

Stir in the shredded cheese.

Using your hands, shape the dough into small patties.

Heat a large non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
