Classic German Chickpea Bowl
A hearty, comforting bowl filled with chickpea, German sausage, and herbs, all in a rich and tangy broth.

- β1/2 pound German sausage
- β1 medium onion
- β1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- β2 tablespoons herbaceous herb blend
- β1 cup beer
- β2 tablespoons tomato paste
- β1 teaspoon salt
- β1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add the German sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
