Bread Bowl Bruschetta
A simple Italian-inspired appetizer featuring toasted bread bowls filled with a fresh mix of tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella.
Ingredients
- β1 BreadRound bread loaf
- β2 cups TomatoesFresh, diced
- β1 cup Fresh BasilChopped
- β8 oz Mozzarella CheeseShredded
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 tbsp Olive OilExtra virgin
- β Salt and Pepper
- β1 BowlFor serving

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Slice the bread loaf into 1-inch thick rounds.

3. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy.

4. While the bread is toasting, mix together the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, and shredded mozzarella cheese in a large bowl.

5. Add the minced garlic to the bowl and stir to combine.

6. Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the top of the tomato mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
