Traditional Croatian Stew

- β2 medium onionchopped
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β3 medium carrotspeeled and chopped
- β2 large potatoespeeled and chopped
- β2 tbsp tomato paste
- β250ml red wine
- β500ml beef broth

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the lamb and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the chopped carrots and potatoes, cook for 5 minutes.

Add the tomato paste, red wine, and beef broth. Stir to combine.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1.5 hours.
