Pan-Seared Bass with Greek Gooey Sauce
A moist and flavorful bass dish with a gooey Greek-inspired sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- β4 Bass fillets6 oz each
- β1 cup Greek yogurtplain, full-fat
- β2 tbsp Lemon juicefreshly squeezed
- β1 tbsp Honeyraw, pure
- β1 tbsp Dillfresh, chopped
- β1 clove Garlicminced
- β2 tbsp Olive oilextra-virgin
- βto taste Saltflaky sea salt
- βto taste Black pepperfreshly ground

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the bass fillets with salt and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the bass for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the bass is cooking, mix together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, honey, and dill in a small bowl.

Remove the skillet from the oven and top each bass fillet with a spoonful of the yogurt sauce.

Return the skillet to the stovetop and reduce the heat to low. Simmer the sauce over low heat for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
