Gentle Italian Custard Tagine
A creamy, slow-cooked Italian dessert inspired by Moroccan flavors. This gentle custard tagine is perfect for a relaxing evening.

- β1 1/2 cups Arabian CustardStore-bought or homemade custard
- β1 medium Saudi TagineTagine spice blend or Moroccan spice mix
- β1/4 cup Granulated SugarAdjust to taste
- β2 tablespoons Unsalted ButterMelted
- β3 Large EggsRoom temperature
- β1 cup Heavy CreamChilled
- β1 teaspoon Vanilla ExtractHigh-quality

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a medium bowl, whisk together the custard, sugar, and melted butter until smooth.

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.

Stir in the chilled heavy cream and vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into 4-6 ramekins or small baking dishes.

Place the ramekins in a large baking dish and add hot water to come halfway up the sides.
