Thai Sea Bass with French Pilaf
A flavorful Thai dish featuring sea bass cooked in a spicy sauce and served with a side of French pilaf.
Ingredients
- β4 fillets sea bass
- β2 cloves, minced garlickyfor garnish
- β1 cup french pilafcooked according to package instructions
- β2 cups pilafuncooked
- β2 tbsp fish sauceoptional
- β1 tsp chili flakesoptional
- β2 tbsp lime juicefreshly squeezed
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Rinse the sea bass fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.

Season the sea bass with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear the sea bass for 2-3 minutes on each side, then transfer it to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.

While the sea bass is cooking, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.

Stir in the fish sauce and chili flakes (if using).

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Serve the sea bass with the French pilaf and spoon some of the spicy sauce over the top.
