Algerian Tagine-Style Oat Bread
A twist on traditional German bread, incorporating fresh Algerian spices into a hearty oat bread.
Ingredients

- β1 tsp ground cumin
- β2 cups oats
- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β1 tsp salt
- β1 tsp sugar
- β1 cup warm water
- β1 tsp algerian spice blend
- β2 tbsp olive oil

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, salt, sugar, and rosemary sprigs.

2. Add warm water and mix until a sticky dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.

4. Add cumin, Algerian spice blend, and olive oil, and knead for another 5 minutes.

5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
