Korean-Style Songpyeon
A traditional Korean holiday rice cake filled with sweet fillings, typically steamed over a pot of boiling water.
Ingredients

- β1/4 cup Korean salt
- β1/2 cup Water
- β1 cup Fluffy rice
- β1/4 cup Songpyeon filling (sweet bean paste)
- β1 tsp Sesame oil
- β1 tsp Sugar

Combine rice flour, Korean salt, and sesame oil in a large mixing bowl.

Gradually add in water and mix until a sticky dough forms.

Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.

Divide the dough into small balls.

Roll out each ball of dough into a thin circle.

Place a small amount of Songpyeon filling in the center of each dough circle.

Fold the dough over the filling and shape into a triangle.

Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.
