Thai-Style Sirloin Stir Fry
A flavorful and spicy stir fry dish made with sirloin, fermented Thai chilies, and a hint of creamy coconut milk.
Ingredients
- ●1 (1-1.5 pound) steak sirloin
- ●2 cups cooked fluffy white ricefor serving
- ●2-3 fermented Thai chilies
- ●1 can (14 oz) coconut milk
- ●1 tsp ethiopian spices
- ●2 cups stew
- ●2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ●3 cloves garlic
- ●2 tbsp fish sauce
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the sirloin and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Transfer the sirloin to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, the fermented Thai chilies, and the stew.

Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the stew is heated through.

Stir in the coconut milk and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Return the sirloin to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over the top.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the sirloin is coated in the sauce.

Serve the sirloin over fluffy white rice, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
