Cheesy Mediterranean Emmentaler Tart
A crispy and flavorful tart filled with melted emmentaler cheese and mediterranean flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 block (8 oz) Emmentaler cheese
- β1 cup Mediterranean mix (e.g. olives, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes)
- β1 cup Flour
- β1 sheet Crisp pastry dough
- β1 Eggbeaten
- β Saltto taste

1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

2. Roll out the pastry dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

3. Transfer the dough to a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.

4. In a bowl, mix together the emmentaler cheese and mediterranean mix.

5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pastry dough.

6. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.

7. Sprinkle salt to taste.

8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
